Madam Orlaine's Evening of Mystery
Unlocking the Secrets of the Mind
In the 1920s, a mysterious woman moved from town to town across the South, performing a single private, invitation-only event in each place before vanishing. She went to great lengths to keep it that way. Newspapers that tried to write about her found their equipment and offices ransacked before they could publish. Only one ever got away with it, and only by waiting until she'd already left town, in an article titled: Madam Orlaine's Evening of Games.
We might never have known her name at all, if not for a young woman named Eviline Scott, who witnessed one such evening in New Orleans, Louisiana, and recorded it in a diary. Decades later, a historian piecing together scattered fragments, other guests, other towns, other single unrepeated nights, found Eviline's account to be the most complete that survived.
We recreate that evening. Not on a stage, and not for a crowd. In a room small enough that there's nowhere to hide, and nothing that isn't real.
The Experience
Close-up mentalism and magic, performed inches away, not from a stage
Intimate gatherings of 10 to 25 guests, invitation-style
No two evenings unfold quite the same way
Perfect for milestone private events, anniversaries, and small exclusive gatherings
A note from Jeff
"Most nights, I'm the loud one, comedy and mind-reading, my usual trouble. Madam Orlaine's Evening of Mystery is something I built differently: quieter, stranger, and built for a small room instead of a big one. I also present this show, and it's become one of the ones I'm proudest of."
